Keraya is a small village located in West Kotawaringin , Central Kalimantan. This village is a coastal village directly overlooking the Java Sea.

Keraya Village initially before becoming a village of this region has been definitively occupied by residents around the year 1936 which merged with the Sabuai village, Kumai District , West Kotawaringin . Keraya village name is taken from a banyan tree (Kariwaya) grew substantially, and towered above the hills grew around the year 1942 and serve as identification for people / fishermen sailed to this village, from the words kariwaya simplified into Keraya and is still used as the name of the village until now.
Here we can enjoy the white sand and blue beach water accompanied by a surge of the waves and a shades rows of palm trees. We can also witness the live of fisherman with a fishing boats passing almost every hour.
The beach is relatively quiet and unspoilt and yet have a complete tourism facilities, but it does not diminish the interest of tourists to visit this beach.
